Technical and Historical Notes

 

One of many F90 Gundam F90 optional armament variations developed by the Earth Federation Forces' SNRI during the UC 0110s and 0120s, the F90R Gundam F90 R-Type (Reconnaissance) was designed for recon missions in areas where Minovsky particles have been spread. The R-Type was equipped with stealth armor that mounted multiple optical camera units, as well as two optical camera guns on each forearm. Leg-mounted containers could store mines or dummy balloons. Because of its recon role, the R-Type's main armaments were limited to standard vulcan guns and beam sabers.
