The Salamis class was a patrol vessel used by the Earth Federation Forces. The Salamis’ armaments included a high output laser cannon and 24 remote controlled laser satellites. The Salamis was developed during the old Anno Domini era, and some vessels were assigned to patrol near the Laplace Colony as the government marked the transition into the new Universal Century calendar. Seventy years later, the EFF rolled out a new cruiser class that inherited the Salamis name.
