The RX-78XX Gundam Pixy was a ground combat version of the RX-78-2 Gundam. By removing the Gundam’s Core Block System, the Gundam Pixy was made lighter and more maneuverable. The Gundam Pixy’s armaments included vulcan guns, a 90mm machine gun and a pair of shorter length beam daggers. At least four Gundam Pixy units were built and saw combat late in the One Year War in multiple theaters.
