The Pizarro was a class of transport ship in use with the Earth Federation Forces prior to the One Year War. The Pizarro could accommodate up to 12 mobile suits and was armed with a total of four anti-air and anti-ground machine guns. In UC 0078, a Pizarro was used to transport the EFF’s new RCX-76-02 Guncannon First Type into battle on the Moon’s Mare Smythii area. The Guncannon, unfortunately, proved inadequate in history’s first recorded mobile suit battle. The Pizarro‘s design was similar to the civilian use Cargo Ship.
