The MSZ-006BN Zeta plus BN was an experimental variant of the MSZ-006A1 Zeta plus A1 designed for anti-ground and anti-ship attack missions. This BN type was equipped with larger main wings and vertical stabilizer fins, two nuclear thermal turbofan engines were installed in its flight sub unit (or “shield”), and its nose sensors could be replaced to suit the situation. These modifications made it suitable for low-altitude penetration and attack missions.
