The MSA-005X-3 Methuss X-3 was a prototype mobile suit developed by Anaheim Electronics as part of their Project Zeta series for the AEUG. Compared to the unarmed MSA-005-X1 Methuss X-1 and MSA-005X-2 Methuss X-2, the X-3 was conceived as a base capture unit and was heavily armed. Its main weapon was a large mega particle cannon mounted on its back that could be fired in both mobile suit and mobile armor modes. It was also equipped with 20 missiles, two beam guns and a pair of knuckle guards. One X-3 unit was manufactured and tested, and the evaluation of its performance led to the concept being redesigned as the MSA-005S Methuss Kai.
