The MS-06MP Zaku II Sub Manipulation System Set Up Type was a customized worker mobile suit used by the Principality of Zeon during the later portion of the One Year War in UC 0079. This non-combat unit fitted a standard MS-06F Zaku II with four manipulator arms that were longer than the Zaku’s arms. Each arm featured several fingers for use in precision work. The Zaku’s cockpit was modified into a two-seater with a window that allowed the pilots to work through visual observation. Only three to four units were known to have been created and were used during the construction of the Solar Ray colony laser.
