Technical and Historical Notes

One of many F90 Gundam F90 optional armament variations developed by the Earth Federation Forces' SNRI during the UC 0110s and 0120s, the F90B Gundam F90 B-Type (Bombard) was designed to mount heavy weapons. When firing all of its weapons simultaneously, the B-Type was capable of single-handedly destroying an enemy base. The B-Type's backpack mounted two large moveable cannons that could freely change their firing angle. Other armaments included a pair of 5-tube grenade launchers mounted on the forearms and four 3-tube large missile launchers mounted on the shoulders and legs. Although these weapons created a significant weight increase, the addition of a moveable vernier on the backpack minimized the reduction in mobility.
