Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Deleted Affair - Portrait of Young Comet is a 14-volume manga series originally released in Japan from 2001-2009. Written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Kitazume, it was serialized in Gundam Ace magazine. The interquel series focuses on Char Aznable and is set between the ending of the 1979 TV series Mobile Suit Gundam and the 1985 TV series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. The manga has not been officially released in English.
