Technical and Historical Notes

The GAT-X105B/CM Build Strike Gundam Cosmos was an upgraded version of Sei Iori's GAT-X105B/ST Star Build Strike Gundam. Its appearance was unchanged from the Star Build Strike, but Sei made improvements to the Gunpla's construction and to its Radial General (RG) Purpose System, which powered up the unit through manipulation of Plavsky particles. The Build Strike Cosmos also utilized an Absorb Field that could absorb enemy beam attacks. The Build Strike Cosmos served as Sei's personal unit in the 8th Gunpla Battle World Championship and in subsequent competitions. Just before an exhibition match at the new Yajima Stadium, the Build Strike Cosmos was stolen by the Gunpla Mafia, which set a trap for Sei and his friends inside the stadium. The Build Strike Cosmos was used in battle by Gunpla Mafia leader Mikio Mashita, forcing Sei to fight against his own Gunpla with the new SB-011 Star Burning Gundam. After the battle, Sei and Reiji used the Build Strike Cosmos and Star Burning to have a Gunpla Battle they had long promised each other. Sei later upgraded the Build Strike Cosmos into the GAT-X105B/GC Build Strike Galaxy Cosmos.
