The Valkylander (aka Morgiana) was a custom Gunpla created by Parviz (aka Patrick Alexandre Leonard Arge). The transforming Gunpla took inspiration from several sources, including the Gundlander from SD Gundam and the GNY-001F Gundam Astraea Type F from the 2007-09 manga series Mobile Suit Gundam 00F. The Valkylander’s original Gundragon configuration resembled a dinosaur due to Parviz’s lingering emotional trauma over being paralyzed in real life in a flight accident. However, Parviz eventually overcame his trauma and implemented the swan wings and flight mode. The Valkylander could also transform into a humanoid SD Dragon Fusion mode. Parviz also included a Gundrans-Am System similar to the Trans-Am System that provided a brief burst of ultra-high performance that drained the Gunpla of all its energy.
In Gundragon Mode, the suit’s main armament was mouth-based fireballs known as Meteor Breath (and later upgraded to Mega Flare Burst). In Dragon Fusion mode, the suit’s armaments included a GN Gunsword, the GN Gunshield and two beam weapons: the GN Launcher Device and GN Flare Device. The former fired thin, wide spreading beams, while the latter fired narrowly focused beams. Both devices could combine to form the GN Mega Flare Device, which received extra energy from the suit to fire powerful blasts. The Dragon Fusion mode could also mount the optional Avalanche parts with its Avalanche Buster Rex beam cannon. This powerful beam cannon could also operate separately as a turret. As the difficulty of battles on Eldora increased, Parviz upgraded his Gunpla into the advanced Ex Valkylander.
