Technical and Historical Notes

The RX-80PR-4 Pale Rider DII (Titans Spec) was a unit based on the RX-80PR-3 Pale Rider Dullahan developed as part of the Pale Rider Project. Like the RX-80PR-3, it lacked the HADES (Hyper Animosity Detect Estimate System) featured in the RX-80PR Pale Rider and RX-80PR-2 Pale Rider Cavalry. New parts were used to replicate the original and create the enhanced Pale Rider DII in UC 0084. The DII’s improvements included a panoramic cockpit with a linear seat and an enhanced sensor suite. The DII was armed with the "Shekinah" composite weapon, which combined the functions of a mega beam launcher, micro-missile launcher and a giant Gatling gun. The Shekinah’s versatility allowed the DII to adapt to close or mid-range combat. In September UC 0084, the DII was part of a team deployed by the Al Giza near L2 to investigate Zeon remnant activity. The Titans team then engaged the Zeon remnant force, which included an MS-09SS Dowas Custom and two MS-17 Galbaldy αs.
