The M72 Lakota was a jeep used by the Earth Federation Forces during the One Year War in UC 0079. Its design was essentially unchanged from the military jeeps used during the old Anno Domini era. The M72’s sole armament was an M-299 machine gun. However, it could be used to transport weapons like the M101A3 Regina anti-mobile suit guided missile launcher. The M72 was widely used throughout Earth, including in Europe before the Battle of Odessa.
