The massive Gwadan class battleship was used by the Axis Zeon during the Gryps War in UC 0087. With its red paint scheme and external fuel tank, the Gwadan’s design resembled the Principality of Zeon’s old Gwazine class. At 600 meters long, the Gwadan matched the Titans’ equally large Dogosse Giar class. The vessels were armed with multiple main and secondary gun turrets. Its large hangar was believed to accommodate up to 100 mobile suits. The lead ship served as Axis leader Haman Karn’s flagship for most of the Gryps War, and ornately decorated halls within the ship highlighted the position of Mineva Lao Zabi as the last heir to the old Principality. At least three Gwadan ships were constructed, with the original being destroyed by the Titans in January UC 0088.
