The Cui was a ground use personnel transport for infantry soldiers equipped with jet packs. The Cui provided a protected platform for the soldiers to deploy from when the vehicle was sufficiently close to its target. The Cui was lightly armed with a single machine gun. In UC 0079, Ramba Ral used several Cuis in a last ditch attempt to attack the assault carrier White Base and force its crew into hand-to-hand combat. A space use version omitted the caterpillar treads and was propelled by thrusters.
