Summary

Jiron and Chill sit in their Hovergy by a town, with Jiron looking for Timp to no avail. A man walking by a Walker Machine tosses its pilot a lizard. Breakers try out for the Iron Gear, shooting at projectiles fired by Blume and Dyke from the deck of the ship as Elchi, Fatman and Kotsett watch. Rag thinks they need to be ready for an attack from Gavlet or Bigman. Jiron and Chill return to the deck and Jiron asks Elchi about where they are going next. A sunglasses-wearing Breaker laughs about how easy these kids are to trick. Jiron wonders about why Gavlet and Bigman may try and attack the Iron Gear. The Iron Gear heads off and Elchi says to be ready for an attack by Gavlet. Several of the Breakers recently hired run to the bridge and hold everyone hostage, also shooting Fatman in the nose. Jiron and Chill watch from outside and leave to tell the others. Members of the crew fire at other Breakers fighting against them on the ship. Blume, Chill and Jiron take a bunch of guns behind the Breaker's backs, but then drop them all. Jiron is somehow able to grab them all without them dropping to the ground. Now armed, several members of the crew also provide guns to Plopopieff, Lovely Rose and their dancers, despite their initial hesitation. The Sand Rats storm the bridge, using smoke to hide themselves, and everyone is able to flee, including Fatman. They run into the other armed members of the crew and fight off some more Breakers when Chill hides behind Lovely Rose's dress. The Sand Rats use a similar strategy to take down more breakers, hiding under the dancers. Eventually they find themselves in front of a door that Elchi is able to open. One of the dancers asks about a safe in the room which Elchi opens, revealing a lot of blue stones. Elchi thinks they won't do anything reckless as long as they are here. The Iron Gear suddenly starts moving and they realize they've been brought close by the Purple Cat. Gavlet uses a wire to make her way over to the deck of the Iron Gear. Timp soon does the same, making Jiron angry enough to try and break through the window. By the time he does, Timp is already out of his line of sight. Gavlet asks about Jiron, Rag and Elchi, finding they haven't been bound up yet.

Gavlet and Timp insult their underlings for not doing well enough. They head to the bridge and Gavlet contacts Bigman. Bigman asks her why she did it and she says to settle a score. Gavlet promises on her beauty that she'll bring Bigman their blue stones, causing Timp to laugh. Gavlet, Timp and some of the others make their way through the ship and bring out some captured members of the crew. Gavlet wants to trade prisoners. Elchi mentions trading the prisoners for blue stones, and Elchi and Jiron agree to providing a bag of blue stones for each prisoner. Gavlet actually wants to trade the prisoners for the girls however, upsetting her underlings. As a result, Gavlet is taken away and one of the Breakers agrees to the trade. Gavlet is thrown in as the first prisoner, causing Rag and Blume to start laughing. Gavlet immediately starts getting kicked around once inside and Chill fires a fake gun at her that just shoots out a flag. Timp leaves while more prisoners are exchanged. Gavlet is questioned about why she is working with Timp and what his relationship with Bigman is. She says she doesn't know, and claims she'll get to keep the Purple Cat if she gets rid of them. She says Bigman will arrive soon and destroy them all. She says she can help them and get Bigman to not attack if they let her go. Timp goes to the bridge and tells an underling to send a signal to Bigman. Several of the Walker Machines start heading towards the Purple Cat and Blume fires at them with a bazooka. When there is no reaction they realize all the Breakers have left the area above them. Jiron says they should transform the Iron Gear into its Walker Machine form and heads up a rope. Gavlet breaks out of her rope and escapes up the same rope, although her cat falls out the window. She sees several landships controlled by Bigman coming. Bigman is told Gavlet failed again and he says to make her target practice. Jiron sneaks up to the bridge and sees Timp inside, telling them to fire after one minute. Timp quickly shoots away Jiron's gun but Jiron is saved by Gavlet, who starts shooting at Timp with a machine gun. Timp is soon able to escape and is chased by Gavlet. Timp shoots a man who is on his Walker Machine and gets in it while Gavlet continues to fire at him. She is nearly crushed by a falling Walker Machine as the Iron Gear transforms. Jiron heads out on the Xabungle, attacking several Walker Machines. The Purple Cat fires back and Gavlet heads back to it, upset to see it being bombarded and in flames. Gavlet's Walker Machine is damaged and she blames everything on Timp as it blows up, killing her. The Walker Machine steps on the Purple Cat shortly afterwards, destroying it. The Purple Cat destroyed, Bigman's landships depart. Jiron heads after them, pursuing Timp, and Elchi tells him to come back. Gavlet's cat meows and attacks a wandering lizard.

Commentary

Arguably the best episode yet. Surprisingly enough we don't get much Walker Machine action until the end, but lots of action inside the ship and things escalate towards episode's end. Gavlet was riding pretty high for a bit in this episode having confined our heroes to a small space on the ship, but things quickly blow up for her as her men sell her out for blue stones and Bigman destroys her ship. Although we don't see her die on screen, the recap in the next episode reveals that she did. Unbelievably enough, Fatman survives a bullet to the face in this episode, and it is just treated like a joke, in theme with his character. Looks like things will continue to escalate with Bigman coming into play as a more powerful nemesis for our heroes. Gavlet going on a machine gun wielding rampage in this episode was quite the sight to see, although the usage of what I presume is the same lizard in two scenes at the start and end of the episode was a weird gag.
