Technical and Historical Notes

The RGZ-95 ReZEL (Defenser b-Unit) is an equipment variation of the RGZ-95. The b-Unit provides extra thrust to the ReZEL to compensate for the added weight. The b-Unit is equipped with two mega particle cannons and two mega beam launchers that can coordinate with the ReZEL's sensors for precision firing and sniping. Instead of the standard RGZ-95 beam rifle, it carries two of the mega beam launchers used by the RGZ-95C ReZEL Commander Type. A Defenser b-Unit is used by Londo Bell pilot Riddhe Marcenas in April UC 0096 when the Nahel Argama engages Neo Zeon forces.
