Technical and Historical Notes

As the conflict between the people of Earth and the Moonrace continues, the political situation on the Moon changes. An alliance between Agrippa Maintainer and Gym Ghingnham seeks to usurp power from Queen Dianna Soriel. During this time, Gym begins research on the "Dark History," and his excavations on the Moon yield several mobile suits: the CONCEPT-X 6-1-2 Turn X for his personal use, and several G-M1F Bandit units for his oddly-dressed young pilot Merrybell Gadget. The history of the Turn X is as much a mystery as that of Loran Cehack's SYSTEM ∀-99 ∀ Gundam, but Gym states that the Turn X is the "brother" to the Turn A. It's also speculated that the Turn X was constructed outside of Earth's solar system. As a fighting unit, the Turn X is more than a match for any contemporary or excavated suit, including the Turn A itself. The Turn X's construction allows it to break apart into many pieces, with each one functioning as individual weapons. The Turn X's right arm lacks a hand, but in its place is a manipulator capable of firing a powerful beam, as well as the "Shining Finger" attack. The Turn X also carries more standard armaments, such as a bazooka and beam rifle. Perhaps one of the Turn X's strangest abilities is the power to suck the energy out of enemy suits, including even that of the pilot! As the "brother" to the Turn A, the Turn X is also capable of unleashing the apocalyptic Moonlight Butterfly that was used by the Turn A to destroy Earth's advanced technology two millennia earlier. Gym uses the Turn X throughout the remainder of the Earth/Moonrace conflict until a final showdown with the Turn A. In the last battle, both suits (and Gym himself) become encased in a cocoon after using the Moonlight Butterfly.
