Technical and Historical Notes
As its name implies, the ZGMF-1017 GINN Ceremonial Decoration Type is specially designated for formal military ceremonies. Unlike the standard model ZGMF-1017 GINN, the Ceremonial Type comes in a gray and gold color scheme, complete with ornate decorations reminiscent of the uniforms worn by past military forces. The Ceremonial Type is usually not used in combat, but it comes equipped with a machine gun for soldiers and an elegant saber for commanders. Two years after the war, the Ceremonial Type is still in service at facilities such as ZAFT's military PLANT Armory One.
