By late C.E. 73, the Orb Union has introduced the transformable MVF-M11C Murasame to replace the aging MBF-M1 M1 Astray. In addition to the standard model, Orb also produces a Murasame Reconnaissance Type. The Recon Type adds a sensor radome, mounted on the backpack. The Recon Type's armament is identical to the standard type, with the exception of the Type 72 high-energy beam cannon, which has been removed to install the radome.
