Technical and Historical Notes

As the land combat MS-07B Gouf is being developed during the One Year War, one of its design features is the incorporation of thrusters in the legs to allow it to perform jet-powered jumps. This idea convinces Zeonic Company to incorporate the idea into its Zaku II line, and several MS-06J Zaku II Ground Combat Types are modified in such a manner. The result is the MS-06G Zaku II High Mobility Ground Type (or "G-type"), which features extra armor and the additional leg thrusters to increase mobility. Its armaments are fairly standard, including a machine gun, heat hawk and giant bazooka.
