Technical and Historical Notes

The MSM-02 Hydro Test Type is a prototype that Zimmad Company develops based on the MS-06M (MSM-01) Zaku Marine Type. The Hydro Test Type is armed with several missile launchers and vulcan guns. The Hydro Test Type's equipment is improved, and though the underwater mobility increases 10 to 20 percent, it fails to meet the demand for an underwater combat suit. Since it aims to be an amphibious suits, its performance on land is also poor.
