Goodbye Domon by Chris 10:22 A.M. EST
Well, unfortunately this is probably the last time I'll be mentioning Domon Kasshu in the headlines. The reviews that people have been waiting for and requesting are finally here. Say goodbye to Domon and his friends when you read my reviews (with screenshots) for episodes 48-49 of G Gundam, which finally completes the series. It's been a long time since I completed reviews for a Gundam TV series, so that's something I'm proud of. Also, for the first time I beat Bandai Entertainment to the punch and finished reviewing a Gundam TV series before they release it. Now that G Gundam is finished, expected another Gundam series to be completed soon. On another note, I'd like to thank Neo-Era, who has been very helpful in acquiring episodes for me. Thanks man!

Go to hell, Kamille! by Chris 2:15 P.M. EST
That's a line that Titans pilot Jerid usually shouts out before trying to destroy the Zeta Gundam and failing miserably. You can read all about that in my reviews for episodes 30-36 (yes, 7 new reviews!). Episodes 31-36 do not currently have screenshots, but they will soon.

Hey, it's Mr. Lingerie! by Chris 11:29 P.M. EST
Anyone who has seen Macross will understand that reference. If you haven't seen it, then umm...watch it. Today I present newly rewritten reviews for episodes 5-8 of Macross. Also, I should make mention of the website Anime Tourist, which is run by the former editors of About.com's anime page. This new site continues the work they began on About.com, and I've started up my guest editorials again. The "Elitist Anime Fans" editorial is now posted on their site, and more will be available soon.

Sayonnara, Gundam Project by Chris 1:07 A.M. EST
By now everyone has heard the unfortunate news that Mark Simmons will be shutting down the Gundam Project on January 19. I am very sad to see it go, as it was the first Gundam website I discovered when I became a Gundam fan. It was a great resource of information, and Mark was always very kind in answering any question I had. Though I've known about this since last week, it bothers me as if I had just read it for the first time. I will say that even though the website is shutting down, Mark will still be a part of the Gundam community. I wish him well in that endeavor. There's also some major changes going on over here that should please everyone. Look for the first one very soon.

Makurosu! Makurosu! by Chris 11:26 P.M. EST
Yep, as promised, it's time to start upgrading those old Macross reviews, which at this point are almost four years old! For today's update I present totally re-written reviews for episodes 1-4 of the series.

Ranting & Reviewing by Chris 3:47 P.M. EST
I've got quite a few updates today. First, upgraded reviews are available for episodes 36-42 of G Gundam, and that completes the upgrades for that series. On another note, many probably remember all the editorials I used to write when the site opened almost two years ago. In 2001, the editorials totally vanished. That was due to a lack of ideas and also being so busy with other aspects of the site. However, that's changing this year. The editorials will definitely become a regular feature again, so without further babbling I present "Elitist Anime Fans Are Never Satisfied."

Plowing through the reviews by Chris 11:35 P.M. EST
Before getting into Macross again, I have to finish upgrading my G Gundam reviews. Today's update includes upgraded reviews for episodes 31-35. The next update will complete the upgrades for that series. After that, it's straight on to Macross for the near future.

The Wait is Over by Chris 11:36 A.M. EST
After years of anticipation, my Super Dimension Fortress Macross finally arrived yesterday. I've seen half the series so far, and I must say that AnimEigo has done an excellent job with this release. I never imagined in my wildest dreams that a 20-year-old show could look or sound so good. The delays were definitely worth it, and I thank them for allowing us fans to finally have the uncut version available again after so many years. Forget Robotech, this is the real deal! Anyway, I will soon begin work on re-editing my Macross reviews, once I finish the last few upgrades for G Gundam. I've already completed some work, as names and episode titles have been updated to match AnimEigo's translations.

Enter the Dragonar by Chris 2:22 P.M. EST
It's time for the first big update of the new year. Today I present the complete mecha profiles for the TV series Metal Armor Dragonar. Next up on the list of mecha series is Yoshiyuki Tomino's 1984 series Heavy Metal L.Gaim. In related news, Burke has sent me updated Gundam profiles, along with an updated version of the Big List. Expect to see those updates in the next few days.

Happy New Year by Chris 11:47 A.M. EST
I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable New Year's Eve celebration last night. Those who stayed home might have noticed that Cartoon Network played the last episode of Mobile Suit Gundam. If only they would play the other unaired episodes. I mean, come on, it's been three and a half months already! Anyway, with the new year comes new things. In the next few months you can expect a lot of changes at the site (all for the better, we promise).
