The shuttle
carrying Heero, Wufei, and Sally docks with Peacemillion.
Wing Zero, Heavyarms, and Altron are loaded onto the ship so that
repairs can begin. Duo sees that Heero is the pilot of Wing Zero
and doubts his ability to control it. Heero says he can because
of his experience with Epyon. Duo is shocked that he piloted the
suit Zechs is using now. On colony C-421, Catherine and the ringleader
notice that the animals are in a state of unrest. Moments later,
several OZ Tauruses land inside the colony and take control of it.
They demand that White Fang hand Libra over to OZ, or the
citizens will be killed. Zechs hears the demands and orders Libra
to change direction and fire on the colony. Quinze objects, and
Dorothy tells him that history will remember this as a glorious
sacrifice for freedom. The
OZ officers report to Treize, but he stops speaking to them. He
doesn't like the way that OZ has changed in his absence, so he has
those soldiers dismissed.
Trowa watches
a video of the colonists held captive and sees Catherine. He decides
he has to save her. He finds that Heavyarms is under construction,
so he steals Wing Zero. Duo and Quatre go after him because they
think the Zero System would be too much for him to handle. Trowa
attacks the Tauruses guarding the outside of C-421 as the Zero System
activates. Catherine and the ringleader protest the bad treatment,
and the OZ soldiers beat up the ringleader. Trowa is about to fire
at an enemy and destroy C-421 when Quatre stops him. He reminds
him that he fixed the mistake that occurred earlier with Wing Zero.
Trowa is overcome by memories and finds that they have all returned.
Duo sneaks inside the colony and destroys all the Tauruses. Libra
finishes its turn and prepares to fire. Relena's shuttle enters
firing range as she tries to convince Zechs to stop. He orders Quinze
to fire anyway. Relena's shuttle barely escapes as the massive energy
beam goes past C-421 and hits an island on Earth. Zechs considers
this an official challenge to Treize.
There's
actually quite a bit going on in this episode. Finally, all five
Gundam pilots reunite after separating in episode 8. Now Trowa is
the last of the pilots to use Wing Zero and nearly be driven insane
by it. When are people going to learn to not use that suit? Zechs
seems to be quite cold now. He was ready to fire on Dorothy, but
she convinced him otherwise. He was even ready to shoot at Relena
and did. He shot at his own sister. For someone who is supposed
to be a copy of Char Aznable, he certainly does some weird things.
Overall
Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
